Applicant FAQ

Do I need teaching experience?+

No. We train every teen teacher on the curriculum and methodology. What matters is fluency in English and commitment.

How much time does it take each week?+

About 1h30 every two weeks: one lesson plus light prep. Lessons are online, so you can teach from anywhere.

Do I get paid?+

No โ€” teen volunteers aged 14โ€“18 are not paid. Once they turn 19, teen teachers can continue with us as paid pedagogical support coordinators.

What level of English do I need?+

B2 or equivalent fluency. If you're not sure, apply anyway and we'll assess together.

Can I apply if I'm under 14 or over 18?+

Teen teachers are 14โ€“18. After that you can grow into a pedagogical support coordinator role.

When do I hear back?+

We review applications on a rolling basis and respond within 4 weeks.
